There’s a book out right now called, Tiger Mom by Amy Chua. I didn’t read it, because as you can clearly tell, I don’t read. But I did watch her interview on the Bill Maher show. Basically self esteem should be earned and not simply given away. American kids have way too much self esteem for having accomplished nothing. Jersey Shore is a perfect example. Why the ‘eff would anybody wear something like this? Simple – she gets paid more money than any of us, she’s on a hit show and MTV flies her to Italy. Why wouldn’t you be over confident? Thanks MTV.
